Determining the Equation of a Sinusoid
A sinusoid is any function of the form y = a*sin(b*x) + c or y = a*cos(b*x) + c.
In the exercises below you are given the graph of a sinusoid and asked to determine the corresponding values of a, b, and c. To determine the values of the coefficients a, b, and c use the sliders to change the values of these coefficients to match the green graph. For example, to match the green graph in Figure 1 we use the sliders as shown in the animation displayed in Figure 2.
