Graphing the quadratic y = ax2 + bx + c

Please be patient! On some machines the graph may take a short time to appear.
  • On the left you will see a graph of
     ax2 + bx + c.
     
  • Below the graph you will find three sliders. These sliders will control the values of the coefficients a, b, and c.
     
  • Move a slider to see how varying one of the coefficients changes the graph. 
     
  • Experiment to see how the graph changes as you alter more than one coefficient at a time!
